Anyone who has a little boy will relate to my story. Ever noticed that 75% of any store’s stock is for girls? It doesn’t matter what store it is, it can be a discount department store or a high-end designer store, it’s always the same story. I understand that it’s more tempting/fun/cute to dress up a little girl, but it’s unfair that boys are overlooked. I dress my little guy as well as I can, but it can be frustrating finding basic convenience items. I couldn’t find a decent boy’s snowsuit, hat and any mittens at all, while the girls side is loaded with all these things in pink. I’m not really that picky, I don’t need 100 varieties of t-shirts, but stores could at least have basic convenience items in stock for both genders.

I received two products of my choosing for my review. First is the “M is for Monster” Shirt by Mulberribush. It attracted me right away as my son’s name starts with an M and I thought it was super cute that is says “M is for Monster”. I’m also pretty color wise and try my best to choose tones that look good on my son. I know that orange suits him very well so it wasn’t a hard decision to pick this shirt. This shirt is made out of thick 100% cotton material. It is suggested to wash it in cold water, which is no problem to me as I always wash in cold water. 
The second item I got are the Cotton Pin Whale Corduroy Cargo Pants also by Mulberribush which are right now on sale for only $14.50. These pants are 100% cotton, have 6 pockets, elastic waist and a mock fly. I love corduroy pants (on my son) and was happy to receive a pair. What I love right away is how wide these pants are. The ones my son currently has are all very tight on the legs and ride up to his knees when I pick him up. They feel soft and as I mentioned already, have lots of pockets. Not that a 2 year old would pay any attention to pockets, but I like to bring some extra tissues when we go out and pockets are great for storing them.What surprised me about both of the items is how big in size they are. I got them in size 2T and my 21 month old son has lots and lots of room for growth. Actually I would even say that these items are too big for him right now. This is great! I’ve been disappointed so many times when I’ve ordered something in 2T and it barely fit my boy (and he’s just a little thing). The quality of the shirt and pants is great and the fit is perfect. I’m beyond happy that The Boy’s Store exceeded my expectations. I’m honored to be sharing this mom-owned Internet store with all my mommy readers.
